New Outdoor Leisure

A significant amount of green space has been incorporated into Elms Park’s infrastructure, providing a range of outdoor leisure opportunities to residents and the wider community:

• Over 100 hectares of new public open space, including extensive new public park available to all
• A sustainable transport hub utilising a network of cycle ways, footpaths and wildlife trails linking different areas of the development, and connecting it to existing communities and the countryside beyond
• Significant enhancements for wildlife, with new habitats created and strengthening of existing wildlife corridors, including along the River Swilgate
• A community sports hub with modern facilities including new 3G pitch and other sports pitches for use by residents and the wider community
